Galveston College desires a state of the art facility for nursing and health sciences technical education that is flexible and promotes the future trends in healthcare. The completely new Nursing Health Sciences Education Building will have classrooms and labs, and will be connected and related to provide a more seamless experience for students. Immersive hospital settings will also be used to enhance clinical experiences for Nursing, EMT and Allied Health students. These new simulation labs will allow faculty to develop situational training in obstetrics, pediatrics, and ICU settings.

Houston Community College – Katy – Education Building

Dally + Associates collaborated with IBI Group to complete this 3-story, 90,000 sf addition to an existing facility at San Jacinto College in Pasadena, TX. This space was designed to be used as a lab space for the dental and nursing programs at San Jacinto College, and the structure was designed to minimize vibration, as most of the dental equipment installed was sensitive to vibration.

Houston Community College – Flood Simulation – Resiliency Operations Center

Dally + Associates is collaborating with Huitt Zollars on this brand new 65,000 sf, 70-acre site, that includes 2.5-acre flatwater pond, variable configuration swift water channel, as well as an urban flood simulator with mock-up buildings and a low head dam simulation. The design also features re-configurable obstacles and movable equipment to sculpt the swift water channel into a wide range of rescue training scenarios as well as the ability to vary the hydraulic conditions dynamically.

Margaritaville Lake Resort

The 20-story resort set on 186 acres features over 300 luxury suites, 32 lakefront cottages, 72,000 sf indoor/outdoor meeting space, and boat slips for water activities. The team was also responsible for designing the Landshark Bar & Grill, pool bars, Lone Palm Pool Bar & Restaurant, and retail shops that accompany the resort.

Fort Bend High School #12

However, core elements of the campus such as the cafeteria and common areas are designed to accommodate up to 3,000 students to allow possible future expansion of the campus.

Gillman Subaru of San Antonio

University of Houston Victoria – Smith Hall

The building provides two classrooms, a game room and television room open to the University on the first floor; and provides a communal kitchen / lounge and study room on each floor for the residents. College of the Mainland – STEAM & Allied Health Center

Dally + Associates collaborated with ESPA Corp. to design this 2-story, 30,000 sf maintenance facility. The foundation system consists of drilled under reamed piers with grade beams and slab on grade. The slab on grade was design for heavy loading. The super structure consists of conventional steel framing such as composite floor design for level 2 and steel bar joists for the roof structure. The exterior of the building consists of cast in place tilt up wall system. The project included multiple bridge cranes and 16’-0” deep equipment lifts.

Galena Park Elementary School

Tanglewood Middle School

Grady Middle School” was originally built in 1949 and was replaced by a new main school building completed in 2012. In 2012, Houston voters approved the second phase of the building, which included the new core classrooms wing, completing the campus master plan and expanding the student capacity from 580 to 850. This addition included two buildings, Building A & Building B, with classrooms and offices.
