Firm Profile
Dally + Associates is a structural and civil engineering firm founded in 1993 as ASA Consulting Engineers. We collaborate with architects, consultants, contractors, and developers to develop structures for institutional, commercial, healthcare, and government buildings. Our design approach simultaneously addresses:
Creativity, with out-of-the-box ideas to accomplish owners’ needs and architects’ aesthetic goals.
Buildability, with technically superb plans that optimize construction sequencing.
Flexibility to accommodate future expansion.
Sustainability, including LEED certification initiatives.
Schedule and budget constraints.
Our extensive knowledge of structural and civil systems yields strong structures and includes various project delivery methods including traditional design-bid-build, construction manager at risk, and design-build. We are committed to effectively communicating with our clients to forge creative ideas, innovative solutions, and efficient designs that are cost effective, allow ease of construction, work seamlessly with other systems, and help keep the project on schedule and within budget.

THE CORNERSTONES OF OUR FIRM:
Exceptional Client Service + Quality Assurance / Quality Control
Technology & BIM
Dally + Associates has made a substantial commitment to technology, which facilitates our ability to design structures that work seamlessly with all other building systems. Building Information Modeling (BIM) enhances our engagement with other firms in the design and construction process. We use a combination of the following software:
REVIT Structure
ETABS, Extended 3D Analysis of Building Systems
RAM structural systems
RISA-3D
SAFE, for concrete floors and foundations
We use BIM early in the design process to explore design innovation and check for conflicts with other systems. BIM’s 3D images allow us to more readily convey structural concepts to clients. BIM also facilitates material quantity takeoffs for budgeting purposes. In document phases, BIM helps us identify construction packages that optimally sequence construction. This powerful tool exports seamlessly to subcontractor software for shop drawings. All resulting in minimizing costly change orders and project delays.
